Hello, my lovelies!
We’re down to five weeks until the release of Tangled Sails! *Cue excited squeals* You can preorder now to be sure it shows up on your kindle as soon as it’s available. I’ve been sharing tons of teasers and sneak peeks over on Instagram, so if you don’t follow me there, why not??
As for the rest of the Displaced Fairytales, I have an update. Originally, Camille Peter’s book, Imprisoned Slumber, was going to be our first release on Feb 10th. However, Camille’s mother passed away unexpectedly several weeks ago, which of course forced her to rearrange her priorities. So her book will now be the last to release, and her new release date is April 7th.
Fairytale February
It’s February and that means it’s fairytale month (if you didn’t know that’s a thing, it is. I was as surprised as you are). Fairytale day will roll around on the 26th, and YES, I will be doing something super fun for that day! I’m very excited about it, but I’m not allowed to talk about it yet. However, rest assured, I’ll have something special to share.
Art Reveal
This is the first time that I’ve commissioned full-fledged character art for a specific scene of my book, and I gotta say, I LOVE it.
I also LOVE this scene in the book. Y’all, it really is just *chef’s kiss* so sweet and swoony.
This art will be making an appearance in both the paperback and hardback versions of my book. It will be a black and white interior image for the paperback, and the hardback (which is going to be a super fancy special edition with its own cover art!) will include the full color version.
And yes, for both my cover art and for this character art, I really leaned into the well known character outfits.
It’s so interesting retelling fairytales and deciding when to nod to the original tale (or the well-known adaptations) and when to make it totally unique. It’s such a fun challenge!
Stickers
I designed these new stickers for both the Dalthia series and the Winberg series, and they turned out super cute!
Why stickers? For fun! And for me to include when people order signed books from me.

These characters are called chibis (I didn’t know that until I got my first one for Hidden Gift) and I order them from a guy on Fiverr. I was so excited to find a fun way to bring these groups of ladies together and create something adorable. They should arrive on my doorstep on Thursday!
