How Kindle Unlimited Magically Became Kindle+
I’m sure many of you are subscribers to Kindle Unlimited, which allows you to borrow as many books as you’d like from the Kindle Lending Library. Well, in case you haven’t heard, Kindle Unlimited is no more! It’s gone—poof! Like a second-rate illusionist.
But fear not, for anyone subscribed, the biggest change is just the name. The cost is pretty much the same. You still get all the books you want to borrow. The biggest change that you’ll actually notice is that you’ll now have access to audiobooks. Much like authors can choose to enroll their ebooks into the Kindle Unlimited (now Kindle+) program, authors can now choose to enroll their audiobooks in Kindle+ as well. That means borrowing the audiobooks will be included in your subscription just like borrowing the ebooks is (again, this is IF the author chooses to include them).
I know there’s concern from authors about how this change is going to shake out moneywise, but that’s just something we’ll have to wait and see on. In the meantime, I hope that any of you audiobook lovers will be able to find some new listens.

I also finished the rough draft of a short story that I’m writing as a prequel to the Love at Honeybrook Inn series. Huzzah! I’m excited to get that polished up and out in the world (hopefully in the next month).
