Hardback of Winberg Series Now Available!

That’s right! My entire Winberg series is now available in HARDBACK! I was so excited when I realized that I could do this without it being a big production. I contacted my wonderful cover designer and (for a small fee) she was able to resize all of my covers within a few days. She’s amazing like that. Then I had to reformat, which was not nearly as difficult as I had feared (small wins)!

So if you are a hardcover lover, you get can your hot little hands on the first five books right this very minute. And when Paths Unknown releases, it will also be available in hardcover, as well as paperback and ebook!

STORY TIME: When I *THINK* I’m Finished

I’ve mentioned before that I’m writing the story of Princess Mia (Ella’s oldest sister), and that it will be a short story that I plan to give away to all my newsletter subscribers. It hasn’t gone as quickly as I’d hoped, but I’ve been getting it done and planning to have it finished before I released Paths Unknown.

Well, for those keeping track, Paths Unknown releases in less than two weeks and I still haven’t gotten Mia’s story to you. That’s because I gave it to my editor for a line edit, and then I got a text that said, “Do you have time for chat about Mia for a few minutes?”

Sigh.

Keep in mind, I’d already done a developmental with her, and I’d had my sister Kimberly read it and give feedback, and both of those had resulted in substantial edits.

So I got on the phone with Jana, knowing by that text that she was NOT going to tell me it was fabulous, and I was right.

She was also right to call me out on it. The story right now is cute. It’s well-done and well-written but it’s not great. And I happen to believe that if I put a story out there in the world, I should think it’s great.

This is why it’s a good thing that my editor is also my sister. She knows me well enough to know that I’d rather rewrite it late in the game than call it good enough when we know it could be better.

So, after 20 minutes of bug testing and brain storming, we came up with a plan for re-writes! I’ve started them (wrote a whole new beginning scene while watching my kids at the pool), but I have my doubts about it being finished in the next week.

Also, I’d rather allow myself and my readers to focus on Ansel and Gretchen and their GLORIOUS LOVE STORY!

I’m so excited for this book to be released on the 17th! If you want it to magically appear on your kindle at midnight, go preorder!
