Just Ella AUDIOBOOK

It has finally arrived! I said I would create a 10th anniversary audiobook of my very first book baby, Just Ella, and I have done it. It’s finished. It’s edited. It’s uploaded. It is officially LIVE. It’s available on Amazon and Audible. Both listings have a sample of the audio if you’d like to give it a try.

Recording an audiobook has been on my “maybe someday” list for a long time. But I’ve always known that if I ever did it, I would do it myself. Hiring a narrator was never an option. Yes, that’s partially because it’s hard for me to wrap my head around the cash investment of paying someone else when I don’t know what sort of return I will get. But the real reason I never considered it is simply that I WANTED to do it myself. I love reading out loud. LOVE. IT. I also happen to have a fair amount of acting experience from my school days (we won’t talk about how many years ago that was). On top of that, when I write, I see and hear the characters and their surroundings in my head. I know the precise inflection and emotion that’s attached to every line in my books. Having someone else read it would have never been satisfying for me because no matter how amazing the narrator would be, it would inevitably sound wrong to me.

So I did it! I did the thing. I’m lucky enough to have some practice in editing video and audio, and I’m super lucky to have a husband with WAY more knowledge in that arena who was more that willing to point me in the right direction and give me instructions so that I could get good sound quality. If you are an audiobook lover, I truly hope you enjoy it. And if you do—PLEASE COME BACK AND TELL ME. I would love to hear what people think of it.

Holiday Gifts

We are entering that season! And if you are looking for holiday gifts, might I make two suggestions?

The hardback edition of Just Ella would make a fantastic Christmas gift for any of your friends that love to have pretty books on their shelves!

And my newest release, To Betray a King would make a fabulous stocking stuffer. It’s a great intro to my Dalthia world. It can be read as a stand-alone. And it’s shorter, so it’s not overwhelming.

Clean Romance Highlights

The Shadow Elf’s Mission, by Elisa Rae is a fantasy new release.

Favian spots his fated mate, but she is out of his reach in more ways than one. Years pass before he is offered the opportunity to actually meet her, but she isn’t who he thought she was.

One Thousand and One Nights, by S.R. Nulton is another new release. Be aware, this one is better read after you’ve read the others in the series.

When Darena discovers that her fiancé, has been kidnapped by his father, she’ll do whatever it takes to set him free.

Few Feet Apart, by Jessie Kelley is a second chance romance. Only $.99.

Love’s unpredictable journey collides with life’s challenges in a heartwarming tale of resilience and romance.
