Book One of my new Love at Honeybrook Inn series is titled Exes & Other Unexpected Guests, and I gotta admit, it makes me smile. I have four books planned for this series, each a different couple falling in love in a different season.
Yes, there is a matchmaking cat! His name is Sterrence, and rumor has it that he can predict when someone is about to fall in love.
My manuscript is with my development editor (also my sister) now, and to quote the texts that she sent me last night:
“Oh my gosh this book is so freaking good so far. They are ADORABLE and it’s hilarious!”
“SHUT THE FRONT DOOR ANNETT
SHUT THE FLIBBITY FLABBITY FRONT DOOR”
And yes, I’m especially proud that I shocked her so much that she misspelled her own sister’s name. 😂😂😂
